Andy Bouwens, Director of Pool Operations
Andy has been involved in coaching high school over 14 years and is currently the Girls Varsity head coach at Byron Center High School. Andy has been involved in age group swimming for over 15 years and is currently helping the Byron Center Age Group Program. Andy is a 6th grade teacher at Highlands Middle School in the Northview School district and has been teaching there for 8 years. He attended Ferris State University for 2 years where he swam before they cut their swim program. Andy then attended and graduated from Aquinas College and later received his master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix . He is married to his beautiful wife Wendy and has 2 children, Nolan (9), and Delaney(5).
